Mountain View Drive-In

I’ve been here at least once a year for the past 10 years after camping/backpacking. Pretty good burgers, the battered fries and onion rings are really good. The fresh strawberry shake is the best flavor because it has real fruit. The service is usually pretty slow and it takes a bit to get your food, but it’s normally busy so that’s expected.

BEWARE!!!! If you like soggy fries and burned burgers this is the place for you. When I asked the worker if the fries were supposed to be cold and soggy she said that's how they get when the sit a minute. I waited 45 minutes and watched the fries sitting on the counter for at least 20 minutes. Not realizing they were the fries I ordered. I get small town places like this get busy and that's not why the review has 1 star. If you're going to have people wait upwards of 45 minutes the food better be perfection when it comes out. This food was cold, burned, soggy.

This is the best place for breakfast. Forget it is a drive in. Wonderful food. We came with a group of 5 and everyone was pleased. Coffee is complimentary. Wow. We will come again. #2x2serenity

Today was the worst service I have ever had here. The girl and boy in back were more concerned with each other than helping the boy out front. The small mushrooms had 4 mushrooms and the large zucchini was barely Luke warm burgers the same. When I ask the girl if we could get hot food she took the zucchini and put them back in the fryer and then brought them back out so the oil just oozed out even the burgers the grease came thru the bun. Extremely disappointed every year at this time we haul the rvs up for hunt and to come here costs us a extra hour to the trip. But this year wasn't worth it at all!!!!!

Food was good, but I sat in the drive thru for 20 minutes after placing my order. It was a burger and fry. Definitely doesn't take that long, but at least it was hot when I got the food. I'd definitely give it another shot!
