Mountain Memories Bed and Breakfast

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and they were always happy to chat. Breakfast was amazing, with several options to choose from, and tasty. Our room was spotless and cleaned to a high standard. I'd recommend staying here. It was a great experience. Five stars from me!

We booked this getaway because of the strong reviews and were not disappointed. Miss Linda was such a wonderful host from the moment we arrived until we left. She reminded me much of my dear Mother whom passed away 2 years ago and they even looked alike. She also was a wonderful cook and graced us with some of her great breakfast selections. It was top notch and better than any other meals we had in town. She had many great stories to tell and we would listen alot. We enjoyed her as much as the place itself. Our room and bed was perfect and very comfortable. Even though we are from North Carolina we are trying to figure out when we are coming back to stay with her again. We watched the whole eclipse from our back deck and it was awesome.

My husband and I stayed with Linda for one night, it was one of the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in. Not one complaint, the bed was comfortable and the room had every luxury you would need! Linda made us a beautiful breakfast the next morning, we are looking forward to our next visit in the summer. You can feel the love and attention to detail, thank you Linda!!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Linda makes your stay so much more personable than any hotel ever could. Clean, welcoming rooms, with every accommodation you can think of - ours even had a towel warmer in the bathroom. We had a three-course breakfast in the morning and dessert was served in the evening - all of which were incredible. We will definitely be back!!

Absolutely AMAZING!!! Only place to stay in this area. Linda is the sweetest woman ever. You cannot go wrong here. We stayed in the Island Cottage and it was everything and more. The house is grand. No matter what room you choose you will be delighted. When you stay plan on a big out of this world breakfast. Be sure to make room cause you will not leave hungry. This woman, Linda, CAN COOK!! The food alone is worth the price. I honestly felt like I was taking advantage of her for what we paid. I will be back. We are going to have our wedding there but we wont stop there. This is our getaway now
