Finally I was able to make it to Mountain Gap Market on top of the mountain in Paris (the Virginia Paris). Fun little market that has a small bakery with fresh donuts and cinnamon buns. The store carries local meats, produce, and vegetables. They have a full menu of coffee and specialty drinks. I’m a firm believer coffee needs to stand on its own (no sugar or flavors, but maybe just a little milk) to really be considered good and they did not disappoint. I got a medium cold brew with a splash of whole milk. Great strong, smooth flavor! The staff were very courteous and friendly. It’s definitely worth a trip to get some really good coffee, meet the great staff, and support a local business!
Amazing new farmers market!!! They now have breakfast/lunch I saw online since last time I went.
Brand spanking new. Good array of products in a small space. Coffee smells good, ice cream is tasty. Parking lot needs some work. Watch the front entrance, things are uneven. Hopefully this will get better with time. Hikers, there is fresh veggies and fruit here.
I’m so glad somebody brought life to this place. It’s so charming now. Love the name and love to stop and treat myself to something. So far I’ve bought pumpkins, cream honey, made by local monks, and delicious freshly made donuts with an excellent espresso. I wish I had better photos to share.
It’s such a joy to have a local market with local goods run by the sweetest local family!! There’s something for everyone here - it’s a great place to stop for coffee, snacks, gifts & treats :) Plus the donuts are to die for!
