The ice cream here was really wonderful - clearly made fresh and with the best ingredients. I have a weird food allergy, and the staff really went above and beyond. They looked into all of the flavors, talked through their process, and offered recommendations. Plus, they were super friendly and fun to chat with. Will definitely be back : )

Mountain Dairy has always provided the community with fresh, quality, delicious products. That tradition continues with their new creamery. Ice cream is made on site, kind and personable staff, wonderful location. Amazing ice cream! The vanilla is my favorite. Try a waffle cone they are so good.

I was so excited to try the newest ice cream spot in Mansfield at the historic Mountain Dairy and it did not disappoint! If you are from eastern CT you know that Mountain Dairy has legendary chocolate milk and high quality products that go back generations. The creamery is situated on Browns Rd overlooking one of the most beautiful rolling hills in town. They have quite a few flavors - we tried the seasonal peppermint, the cookie dough, the maple walnut, and the moochachino. The ice cream is delicious! Tons of cookie dough in mine! They also have a pup cup for the dogs! You can look into the ice cream making room through a big window. The best icecream with premium quality and taste! Very clean and beautiful, warm ambiance that is so relaxing and enjoyable! The views are spectacular and icecream is so fresh and creamy. So excited to come back for more!

Mountain Dairy Creamery has created a very special place to gather and soak in some of the best farm scenery in Northeast CT. White tail deer are seen almost daily eating grass in the luscious hay fields. The ice cream is excellent, and they also offer other dairy products, such as milk. highly recommend!
