Mountain Burrito

Ok, first time here. The staff is outstanding, especially Julie. She explained everything. I decided to get their taco special with chicken. I said I wanted to try everything. The young man with the toppings asked about specifically about cilantro (yes please) and pineapple (no thank you). Hubby got the biggest burrito I ever saw. He chose the carne asada but he preferred my chicken. We liked it so much we wanted to take it on our trip back to MA the next day and ordered more to go. Julie knew what she was doing. She packed the hot stuff in one container and the cold in a second one so it wouldn’t wilt and get soggy and then packed the sauces separate. Such care for the customer! This is the closest thing to a chipotle type place in Valdese. I have never had a bad meal here. Full or fun size, chicken is delicious,carne asada is scrumptious and queso is good, quesadillas and are dope! Always comes with chips and they have many different homemade salsas daily. They have different daily specials: sweet potato tacos, shrimp tacos, ahi tacos, pork and pineapple quesadillas, shrimp quesadillas… all of them are fabulous!! I haven’t been here for breakfast but I hear their French toast is beautiful!!

We've eaten at Mountain Burrito in Morganton and absolutely love it, so we tried Valdese location today. Wow! It's same great food, amazing customer service with added bonus of incredible atmosphere and eclectic seating. Really enjoyed and definitely recommend 👌 👍

Mountain Burrito is a new place to Valdese. You can't tell it. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have some great food. Their sauces are super good. Some different ones that you can't find anywhere else. The cooks that came up with them did a fabulous job. I can't wait to go back and eat here again. You won't leave hungry thats for sure.

5 starts across the board! Great atmosphere when walking through the door, and the service was great. I’m not from around the area actually live states away and was down here for work and the people were very explanatory about everything and made suggestions that turned out tasting very good. Wonderful taste and flavors from everything, can taste the freshness in everything and over all impressed with everything.
