Love this Arepazone! Menu is clearly marked with gluten free allergen information which is greatly appreciated. Food is incredible, and La Cosecha is a great place to hang out and eat. The vibe here is relaxed but intimate. Highly recommend the empanadas!
Delicious Venezuelan food spot inside La Cosecha. The tequeños are excellent, and the stuffed arepas are just as good. The arepas might look greasy, but they are not. Highly recommend the Latin hot dogs or any of the stuffed arepas. There is plenty of seating options.
The food took forever to come out (more than 20 minutes) and when it did, it was room temperature/lukewarm at best. I got the pabellón criollo bowl with beef but noticed a hot dogs/pork flavor, especially when I ate the plantains. It’s clear they are using the same oil for everything which is gross. The rice was dry and clumpy together. I tried not to fuss and ate anyway. I began to feel sick to my stomach within 30 minutes of eating. My Venezuelan husband, who has an iron stomach, threw everything up within 3 hours. I was so excited about finding this place because we miss eating tequeños and the market itself is pretty and has a great atmosphere. The terrible quality food at Mosaico makes me skeptical about all the others now.
Authentic Venezuelan food. Delicious and very tasty. Staff is friendly. You can also find Venezuelan snacks
Place: Very nice and clean, located inside La Cosecha market. Customer service: Good. Food: I ordered a Patacón Trío, tree tostones of fried plantain with beef, chicken and black beans. It was good. The other item was the Pepito, it could be better, the bread wasn't the expected, and beef as well. Drinks, cane sugar and lemon was good. They have other snacks and drinks. The way the food is served is very good. Price: Fair. Patacón Trío $10, Pepito $13. At the beginning I was thinking in 4 stars, but the whole place is very special. As part of the Union Market, all the efforts for improve DC deserve 5 stars, thank you!
