Morty's Steaks

A cute atmosphere, friendly staff, kid games on a few tables, family friendly. I can easily see how this would be a hit for people with young children. Overall, the food was average but very reasonablly priced. Bonus: they use PaPa Sarge's Homemade Pierogies.

We stopped into Morty’s for lunch on Saturday. We were met by a friendly gentleman at the counter. We ordered steak sandwiches and onion rings. The food was very good. The gentleman running the front counter was accommodating. The atmosphere is just what you expect from a steak sandwich joint. The place was clean, warm and inviting. Would definitely go again.

The meat, rolls, & toppings were fresh & not tasting bad! Quick service! While the meat was generous amt. U can't put 2lbs of meat on a thick roll with not enough cheese. It ends up being very dry if you order a steak with out sauce. I have no idea what their sauce is like as I didn't order that kind. I got a philly style with Wiz and grilled onions & hot peppers. I could not find the Wiz on it and it was thick and dry. There was an abundance of hot peppers yet barely any grilled onions. They may have cooked the Wiz in the meat but again no cheese taste etc. And the cut sandwich was uneven with cheese and onions like one side had nothing on it. Certainly not anything close to philly. Great spot!, right by the Emmaus triangle, parking available, across from Yergeys brewery. Best Philly cheesteak I had in the area, no more driving to Easton or Philly for the family. They even accommodated for my wife who does not eat bread (gluten) and her meal was amazing!

Stopped in for a cheesesteak: unfortunately the meat was not well-seasoned and the unseeded bread was just okay. Despite an elaborate wall decoration showing a pretty storied heritage, this cheesesteak falls short.
