Morse Coffee Company

I’ve hesitated to write this only because I almost want to keep this place to myself — but they deserve the recognition. This shop is owned and operated by a couple who are there constantly. Not “showing up sometimes” owners — they are the ones behind the bar, cleaning, serving, managing, doing all of it. Six days a week. That alone earns my respect. What keeps me coming back, though, is the coffee. It’s excellent. Not sugary, covered-up, chain-style drinks — but thoughtfully made, high-quality coffee. If you actually enjoy the taste of coffee, you’ll appreciate what they’re doing here. It’s also a small space, and they run it intentionally. It’s not a lounge for outside food and drinks. It’s not a coworking space free-for-all. It’s their livelihood. I respect that they protect it. Eve

We went here today in the afternoon and the first woman who greeted us and served us drinks was great! She was kind and made us good drinks and was thoughtful in regards to our children. We had our 18 month old with us and then later I brought my 4 year old over after picking him up from a class. After sitting for a bit the kids wanted to move around in the wide open space and we told them that they needed to keep their voices low, but we would allow them to run around a bit. They were running back and forth and they were doing a pretty good job at keeping pretty quiet. It was not a busy time (it was almost closing time), only one other couple were there, and I definitely would not have let them roam around as freely if there had been more people or if it had been in the morning when mo

I love that Morse Coffee has another small Portland business Ranger Chocolate as their hot chocolate! Such artistic beauty in the cup itself and local artists on the walls… everything you’d want in a small business 💚

Espresso was just OK. Pastries were probably the highlight, although a little pricey. Man behind the bar was nice, but the atmosphere was extremely loud and the person at the register wasn’t exactly welcoming. Worth checking out, but not sure with other options in the area we will return.

We just discovered an incredible spot in Lake Oswego called Morse Coffee Company. The coffee is perfectly roasted, the pastries are all time, and the space is open, airy, and perfect for working remotely. If you are outside of Lake Oswego it is worth the short drive. This place checks all the boxes but what truly sets it apart are the two amazing humans Sam and Sara who are the reason you want to come back again and again.
