Morrison House Bed and Breakfast

I travel to Boston often for work, and my first choice of accommodation is always either The Morrison House or their sister in, the Davis Square Inn. These homes are truly a gem. Rooms are comfortable, quite, well taken care of. Breakfast is consistently great. The location can't be beat. I am grateful to Ron and Linde for their efforts to make these Inns such welcoming places to stay. Highly recommended.

Generally enjoyed our stay here, although the place has a few quirks. The location is great (quiet neighborhood, 5 min walk to the T and Davis Sq) and we enjoyed the outdoor seating areas. Breakfast was fairly basic but did the job. We hardly saw the hosts, and it didn't seem to be the kind of B&B where you receive a personal welcome or make lots of small talk with the owners. It seemed to be easier to reach them via email (which was answered promptly) than to find them in person.||The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed being able to open the windows for fresh air. Internet worked well and we enjoyed meeting the resident cat. Our room was fairly tidy but despite the b&b being described as "ultra-clean" we found long hairs on the shower wall and a dried up cookie on the carpet by the nights

Really great visit at a good price. Excellent communication, great place to stay, comfy bed, good amenities. I booked at the last minute and honestly was expecting to pay a lot more for a lot less 😆, but this met or exceeded all my expectations! A short walk from a lively neighborhood with good nightflife, at least on a Saturday.

A very nice place. We spent 4 nights there. The room that we had was spacious and comfortable (we previously had issues with rooms at similar places - so our room was a very pleasant surprise to us). Two queen-sized beds (one of them foldable), a table, an armchair, a bathroom with a shower, and a sink. The service was ... how to say ... barely noticeable, but still satisfactory- no complaints :) The breakfast was somewhat lacking (I'm not a fan of stone-cold hard-boiled eggs from the fridge, for example; on the other hand I liked their choice of yogurt) - so, we tried it once, and then switched to buying food outside. The location is great: 3 mins walk to the Davis Station + lots of restaurants nearby. The place is very quiet. And, they have a cat as their mascot (not allowed in the roo

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Morrison House. They were able to accommodate our (very) late check-in, and the bed was super comfortable -- just what these weary travelers needed after driving eight hours. Two of the best night's sleeps we've had in a long while. Our room was comfy with a desk and sitting area. The bathroom only has room for one person at a time, but the shower is tall and has excellent water pressure. (Important detail, at least for me.) Breakfast featured french press coffee. Mostly fruit and cereal with a muffin/cake of the day. Hard-boiled eggs and yogurt for protein. We enjoyed our time at the breakfast table with another family visiting from California. They have on-site parking in the driveway beside the house. Nice area too, close to the nearby square with sh
