Morris Family Restaurant

This is a very friendly location. Staff are nice, fast, and you can tell they care about their customers. I originally came in to just take a look for later today and man, they are good at making you want to stay and eat, maybe it was just the pasta that really grabbed my eye. Either way, I have no regrets. I will for sure be going back later for some dinner. Don't even get me started on the prices as they are more than fair. Highly suggest giving this place a chance if you are in the area.

I’m here for work and leisure, traveling from Houston, Texas, and I decided to eat here for a couple of days. I came for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and every single meal was amazing. The food truly tastes like a from-scratch kitchen made with care fresh, flavorful, and consistent every time. i honestly wish I could put this place in my pocket and take it back to Texas with me. I’d happily keep coming back to eat here and spend my money again and again. Highly recommend!

It's about time I found a good homemade country fried steak. Before today, the only place I could get a good one was at IHOP. As a night shift medical staff worker, I was hungry, exhausted, and finially done with my long work week. Of all things, the last thing I wanted to do was take care of some car maintenance. I figured I had a chance to try a new breakfast place. I love breakfast-so I googled "breakfast," and Morris Family restaurant was one of the ones that showed up. The atmosphere was inviting and comforting. Staff were kind, with a nice lady welcoming everyone. I had the classic, country fried steak and eggs, but this one comes with the choice of hashrowns or home fries and toast. I chose hashrbowns, and then they asked if I wanted bell peppers and onions. I'm a trucker from the South. They have really good food to be an northern restaurant. LOL ONLY reason I'm really giving them four stars is because they close at 2pm and they only do baked potatoes after 4:00 p.m. . Other than that their food was amazing and fulfilling. I'd visit them again when I'm in town. Wish I would've taken photos. Problem with that is we couldn't stop eating long enough to get the photos.

Okay, this was a tough one to rate. It was a cute diner with friendly employees. My biscuits & gravy were excellent. Loved the gravy. I was given an option to not have onions & pepper in my home fries. So I said please no for neither. What I got was what looked like potatoes that had onions & peppers still in it but had a lot scraped off. It felt like a mistake that was poorly fixed. The red potato home fries did taste good, though I had to pick through my food to get onion & peppers out. The bathroom was clean. I had to ask twice for a fill-up on my coffee, though. So it was a good place to eat but felt like mistakes were made.
