I thought “Moroccan Bites” was just a catchy name, but turns out it’s a literal warning! The portions are so tiny, you might want to bring a magnifying glass to find your food. Planning to break your fast here? Don’t forget your coffee—because they don’t serve it, and you’ll need something else to calm down your hunger! I highly recommend packing some msemen and croissants . We ended up running to Zyara for a wrap because, let’s be honest, we were still hungry. The decor is stunning, though. You start with dates and shebakia—admittedly, the shebakia was good. Then it’s a piece of msemen so small. The fruit salad? Just a shy little scoop hiding at the bottom of the cup. The Moroccan salad is a spoonful of each: carrot, barba, and mashed potato, served with a side of “Is that it?” And let’

The chicken liver tagine alone justified the visit. Rich, funky, unapologetic. The lamb with prunes and apricots had been slow-braised into submission: sweet, savory, perfectly balanced. We closed with mint tea, delicate and just barely sweet. Exactly the meal we needed after doing our taxes (oof owie). We'll probably be back within the week.

A very small (3 tables) eatery with delicious Moroccan food. We came because of the “where do Moroccan people go when they’re homesick and hungry vid”. There were limited options and the couscous items are only available on certain days so we couldn’t try. The items we did try were delicious! The chicken pastilla was like a chicken baklava lol. The top was sweet like a dessert so if you don’t like salty sweet food this may not be for you. The lamb was fall off the bone. Not gaimy and very flavorful. The mint tea was great to balance everything out. I’d def come back to try the other items!

Great experience at Moroccan Bites by Siham. We loved the mint tea and eggplan spread. We went on a Friday night, the only day they serve vegetarian options. Veggie cous cous was good. They are opening another spot on Steinway close to 30th ave supposedly at the end of this month.

Hate to type up a review like this in Ramadhan but I must do what I think is best. Came in for a take-out order 40mins before iftar. They said it would take 25mins but took 50mins instead (food arrived 10mins after iftar). Now I must emphasize that I have no issues with waiting, especially in Ramadhan, delays are understandable. What I have an issue with is what did NOT happen during our wait. They offered dates and other items to break your fast to only dine-in customers. They looked straight at us waiting for our food and decided to ignore us while walking in front of us with a platter filled with dates. We had to go outside to buy drinks to break our fasts due to this. So apparently the generosity for breaking your fast with even a date only extends to dine-in customers? Very hurtful
