Morning Star Bed & Breakfast of Corrales (Closed)

We just finished our stay, and we really enjoyed our visit. John and Carrol are clearly proud of their B&B, and they love sharing it with guests. The beds were fantastically comfortable. The adobe house is quiet, the location is great (it feels very secluded...see attached picture of front lawn) and has easy access to the amenities of Corrales and the nearby Cottonwood restaurants and shopping. This is New Mexico hospitality at its finest. You see places such as this, and you wonder... "why would anyone stay at a hotel when this sort of lodging is available?" We will hopefully be staying with them again soon.

Had a great stay here during the Balloon Fiesta! Beautiful property, Carrol and John are great hosts and the breakfast each morning was delicious. They have two really friendly dogs which are a plus if you’re a dog lover like our group. Location is excellent for the Balloon Fiesta, close to the Cottonwood Shuttle pickup. If the winds are in your favor, we also could see the balloons two morning fly directly overhead! Would recommend and stay here again.

We stayed here during the balloon fiesta and had an amazing time with the location being a huge plus. John and Carrol are the sweetest humans with a great B&B. The coffee/tea bar was always fully stocked and breakfast every morning was delicious! I highly recommend staying here any time of the year, but waking up to balloons firing off and floating overhead was something I’ll always remember.

We spent a week at Morning Star in mid June. This was our second stay. We will stay there every time we're in the Albuquerque NM area from now on. We loved it here. It is like home away from home. Carrol and John are the best hosts we've ever experienced. They are both very personable and helpful in every way. John's breakfasts are absolutely amazing, so creative, as well as delicious. Our room overlooked the lovely pool, a great view. The property is beautiful, lots of trees and quite private. We had lots of places to relax and read in the house. We had our choice of the living room, library or outside on the patio. On nice mornings, breakfast is also served on the patio. I can’t say enough amazing about this bed & breakfast. It is a one of a kind gem! We were welcomed in with open arms & made to feel at home here at this gorgeous place. It is designed so well inside and gives such a cozy, warm feeling. You can’t help but feel relaxed here! The bathtub in the master suite is above and beyond beautiful & adds to the comfort and coziness of the place. Jon and Carrol are the most welcoming hosts and truly make you feel at home and rested.
