The service was quick from the start and the atmosphere was really nice. Our waiter was incredibly accommodating answering any questions we had and even providing recommendations that we took into account. The food we ordered was delicious, flavorful and fresh. It arrived at a reasonable time. I highly recommend this place for authentic food. Will definitely be returning :)

We made reservations and were seated promptly after checking in. We sat in a roomy booth, and the atmosphere was pleasant and not too busy yet. We looked over the diverse menu and ordered drinks, a few izakaya items, and entrées. Had an incredible omakase experience at Mori. Every piece was beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared. The fish was incredibly fresh — buttery toro, delicate scallop with just the right touch of yuzu kosho, sweet salmon, perfectly tender octopus — each bite was balanced and clean. You can really tell the chef respects the ingredients. I especially appreciated the variety and pacing. From the bright citrus notes to the richer cuts, nothing felt heavy or repetitive. Even the sides — the seaweed salad, pickles, and fresh wasabi — complemented the sushi perfectly. Mori in Anaheim is the real deal. We demolished: Beef Tongue, Ebi Mayo, Squid Leg Karaage, gorgeous Chirashi Bowl, steaming Large Oden Soup, Katsu Curry Rice, juicy Beef Ribeye, and a bowl of fiery Nagasaki Jjampong. The 5 of us ate up everything on the table—everything was perfectly executed and bursting with flavor. Super casual spot with welcoming service and the huge bonus of staying open until midnight Tuesday through Saturday. Perfect for late-night cravings when everywhere else is closed. If I could give negative stars, I would. We saw this place on TikTok and wanted to give it a try, especially since it was our friend's birthday. When we got there, we ordered a couple of items from the happy hour menu. The sashimi was good. BUT THEN... We started ordering from the regular menu because happy hour was ending soon. The service was really, really bad. IT IS NOT BUSY AT ALL TOO. I'm not sure if the lady was also a server, but she was giving us attitude when she brought our food to the table. I reached out to grab the plate since there was no space on the table because my friends were talking, and she said "excuse me" in a rude way while I was trying to help make space.
