Mooresville Public Library

Mooresville Public Library is a wonderful community space with a welcoming atmosphere. The building is clean, quiet, and well-organized—perfect for reading, studying, or working on projects. The staff are friendly and always ready to help, whether you’re looking for a specific book, using the computers, or exploring programs for kids and adults. There’s a good selection of books, movies, and local resources, and the children’s section is especially nice for families. Parking is easy, and the environment feels safe and relaxed. Tip: Check out their calendar of events—they often host fun and educational activities for all ages. A great place for both learning and relaxation.

The event calendar doesn't match what time things are going on in reality. As it stands an event their website says is supposed to be going on right now doesn't start for another two hours according to the person at the front desk. The same event also states registration was supposed to open January 16, and when we called to get on the list that day, a grouchy old woman said registration didn't start until February. No way I'd give this library one star otherwise because it is nice and offers a great place to study, but this level of disorganization and miscommunication is unlike anything I've ever experienced.

This is a wonderful library! We found it mostly by accident when trying to find a place to view the 2024 solar eclipse and it was a lovely surprise. Not only did the staff plan many eclipse day events, the library was also great. The kids section is well stocked with both books and activities and very welcoming. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. Moorseville is very lucky to have such a nice library and it would be a great place to visit again if we were to travel back.

Great library with awesome staff. They really are friendly and helpful. There are kids and adult programs and plenty of events to attend. This building is great with many rooms and seating areas. Its a great place to connect to Wi-Fi or use the computer lab. I've been going here for years.
