Moonpass Lookouts

We had an incredible stay at Moonpass. We were able to snowmobile into our tower. It was so peaceful and beautiful. We loved all the small details in the towers from the Moonpass Lookout themed stickers to the high quality cookware. My only regret was not staying one more night. We talked about coming back before we even left! Thank you for creating such an incredible experience!

We stayed at Moonpass Lookout and had a fantastic stay. It was such a quiet and peaceful visit. The sauna was incredible. It was chilly when we stayed but we had a fire at night and it made the ambiance and temperature perfect. The bed was super comfortable. Our dog (70lb Lab) was scared of the stairs but after some practice and coaxing he figured it out. The tower is pretty close to town. All around a wonderful experience.

We were so fortunate to be the first guests in half moon tower. We were able to meet Kristie and her brother and see up close the hard work and passion that are going into the projects. This is such a unique experience and we loved it. The tower is so well stocked and the attention to detail is incredible. We used the sauna both mornings and loved that experience. We explored the forested grounds snd then hiked the Polaski trail near town. We had one clear night and were able to see the stars well through the unique roof. We will definitely look to go back again! Side note: The tower is definitely not oriented for small children or anyone who has trouble climbing stairs.

I finally got to experience my long awaited stay at Moonpass Lookout! My stay was amazing! The lookout was so well stocked, and I was so delighted by all of the thoughtful little details that were added for the guests! They literally thought of everything! I have stayed in several fire tower lookouts before, but nothing compares to Moonpass! The glass roof for star gazing was so fantastic, and the cozy woodstove was perfect. The sauna and bathroom were absolutely amazing. I have never seen a toilet like this one, so cool! (sure beats the outhouses that most lookouts have) Wallace is such a gem in Idaho, so much to see and do. I highly recommend a stay here for any adventurous, outdoor nature lover! I absolutely cannot wait for a return trip!

A unique getaway and destination on it's own! My wife and I spent 2 nights at Moonpass Lookouts with our dog. It was rainy and cold the entire time, but we had a great stay! The setting is beautiful, remote, peaceful, and quiet. The small wood stove adds plenty of heat and ambiance. Our 60lb pitbull mix did not enjoy the stairs but she was able to make it up & down without too much trouble. I definitely would stay here again
