Moon River Pizza

Super friendly and helpful staff! Fun decor and music is at a good volume. But the pizza…way better than expected! We wanted to try some of the named pizzas on the board, but decided to play it safe on our first visit and just got a large mushroom. You can tell it was made fresh; I can’t say I’ve seen a pizza steaming like it was when we got it, mushrooms were very fresh, and just the right amount of sauce, cheese, and mushrooms. The crust had a good crisp on the bottom, but a really good chew. I usually prefer a very thin crust pizza being originally from the northeast, but this was amazing! The sauce wasn’t my favorite, but nothing notably wrong with it. ENJOY THE BEST PIZZA ON THE ISLAND WITH ALL THE LOCALS! Moonriver is an absolute must-visit if you visiting, but even better for us locals. Always consistent with their options despite their busyness. Their Greek salads are AMAZING but the pizza truly stands out. After a long day at the beach, there’s nothing better than stopping in for their incredible pizza options. The sauce is delish, vibrant, and packed with flavor — perfectly balanced and never too heavy. Paired with their fresh mozzarella cheese, which is creamy and melts beautifully, every slice tastes fresh and satisfying. You can truly tell they use quality ingredients. This place rocks! Our group did a large order for dinner and everyone unanimously agreed that everything was delish! We got a calzone, 2 pizzas, and 2 orders of cheese sticks all of which were great! Will definitely be returning to this spot whenever we are in town.

We came up to Amelia Island for the Amelia Concourse. Craving pizza we asked locals. This led us to Moon River. When I tell you this was the BEST pizza I have had. I make no lies. This PIZZA slaps!

Moon River Pizza has the best pizza in Florida. I do not believe anyone comes close to their level of consistent and amazing food. I am thankful for their Fernandina location.
