We had a fantastic time here. It’s a Vietnamese fusion restaurant, and every dish we ordered was excellent. The cornbread, snapper, prawn, rice cake, and curry all stood out — rich, layered flavors with great textures. Each dish feels thoughtfully designed, well balanced, and even a little surprising in a good way. We ordered three desserts and they were all amazing and very unique. Definitely try the seaweed and durian desserts — you won’t regret it. They also offer some very creative cocktails, though to be honest, we didn’t really enjoy the ones we ordered.

I have eaten in a lot of good restaurants around the world over the years, and this immediately took a place in the top ten. Interesting and inventive without being pretentious or showy. A focus on taste and subtleties rather than anything overpowering. The staff perfectly threaded the line between being engaging and welcoming without being overwhelming or annoying. Absolutely exceptional food deserving of its reputation in DC and highly highly recommended. The music was great too! They played The Cure! Hamy was my server and she was wonderful - thank you!

I will remember this meal for many moons to come! Just wow! Went during restaurant week with some friends and it was outstanding! I feel often people say nice places don’t go all out during RW but this place sure did! Service was OUTSTANDING, portions were large and every dish was packed with flavor. We did the 5 course menu and enjoyed every bite! Can’t wait to go back! Favorites included the bbq shrimp and the pork belly, but truly everything was delicious! Also the decor is warm and the restaurant was not too loud even on a busy Friday night!

Enjoyed my meal here overall. Service was attentive and detail-oriented - napkins folded when you step away, water glasses never empty, and staff were knowledgeable about the menu and allergens. We walked in around 7pm on a Saturday and were able to get two seats at the bar. The menu is creative on both the food and cocktail side. The Pho Dac Biet cocktail was vodka-forward and reminded me of a martini with pho spices, especially star anise. The sparkling sake was excellent. Highlights were the mochi beignets (great chew, nice crunch from the pickles, excellent eel - just wish there was more of it), the koji focaccia with chili satay beans (perfectly toasted, fluffy inside), and the curry dessert, which was an unexpected favorite - everything worked beautifully together. One of the best Vietnamese fancy meals I've had. Everything was amazing, from the meals to the service to the food and drinks. Very cool modern and eclectic takes on Vietnamese food. Me and my friends thoroughly enjoyed it.
