MOOJIGAE korean grill(무지개식당)

I ordered the seafood pancake and it was delicious! and huge! When I ordered, I thought the $21 price tag was high, but I am easily getting three meals out of this! The white rice (hiding under the pancake), japchae, and kimchi were good, and I don’t like mac salad so I gave it to my roommate. The pancake made a great dinner reheated in a pan. This would be a great place to split a meal, do wish there was more seating, but you can always eat at the nice benches by safeway.

Got Spicy Chicken and OMG so so good. Beware its a little spicy and I like spice. A nice surprise is the slices of rice cake in the spicy chicken. I love rice cakes and was torn on getting the spicy rice cake dish (dont know how to spell it) or spicy chicken and this made it perfect. Side dishes are really good too. Definitely coming back. Lol sorry didnt get a pic before I started eating.

Absolutely loved the food here and I’m definitely coming back for more! We ordered the Half Kimchi Half Seafood Pancake. The Mac salad was very interesting and not my preference because it has fruit inside. The plates are served with generous portions, perfect for sharing! Located near Safeway Kapahulu. Plenty of parking in the lot. No place to sit inside but lots of Outdoor seating and Safeway also has more tables if it’s full.

Today I got to try the Jajanmyun and it was tasty. Small restaurant with outdoor seating and cashier that is very friendly and helpful.

We tried the spicy pork, half and half pancake (seafood/kimchi), and bulgogi bibimbap. Our favorites were the pancake and spicy pork. The bibimbap was healthy. Get the pumpkin salad side. It's soo good! Will be back to try the rest of the menu. Glad we don't have to drive to Waikele to try out Moojigae.
