Montgomery's On Main

I dined in for lunch while in town for a class. Locals recommend it so I decided to give it a try. Neat location on the square. Waitress could have been friendlier but service was fast. I found some unique dishes on the menu and had one a try. I was pleased with my order and would eat there again. My order dint take long even with the place busy.

Kinda long review ahead: Visited here this evening for the first time for my brothers birthday. The only good things I have to say is that it’s a cute place and their sweet tea was good. There was also no wait, but after our experience, I understand why. My brother, mom, and I all got a ribeye. My mom’s and mine both were very undercooked. Mine also was supposed to be a 12 oz that I would say was mostly just fat, like over half of it. My brother’s ribeye was cold, and we all agreed that they had 0 flavor. Even using steak sauce didn’t help. The waitress gave my mom an already opened thing of butter that was partially used for her to use for her cold baked potato. Which is absolutely ridiculous if you ask me. My dad got the catfish, and he said it was ok but that it had a very strong fishy

I ordered the Friday catfish plate! It was delicious! All my vegetables were good portions and great food presentation. The appetizer chicken wings were good but the mozzarella cheese balls? lacked any flavor. Everything else was scrumptious 😋

I was visiting from Charlotte NC for 2 weeks in Pontotoc MS and heard about this place from my good friend Mr. Terry Harmonica Bean! We went and the hospitality at Montgomery Grill was great!! Mr. Robert suggested the Strawberry cake for desert! He was so kind and attentive he made sure we enjoyed everything we ordered..the strawberry cake was off the chain!! I cant wait to go back again. "A great place"!

Great customer service. Food came out very quickly and was great. I would definitely go back and try it again. Really enjoyed my swamp chicken even though its not very healthy lol. My wife had Montgomery chicken i believe with sweet potatoes fries.
