Went here for my birthday and it was awesome! We had reservations for 3 and we were seated and had drinks and bread by 3:05. John did an amazing job taking care of us. We had our food by 3:15 and it was hot and delicious! Best ribs I've ever had! Definitely will be back, one of the best meals I've had in a long time.
Montgomery Inn definitely has an old-school charm to it. The interior of the building is much larger than I expected and there’s ample seating and space for several hundreds of people. The food is alright, nothing to rave about, but it’s neither fancy nor quick service, somewhere in the middle of the two. We were helped today by Staci who was wonderful and ensured that our large party had everything we needed and were even surprised that the automatic gratuity was set at below industry standard, coming in at 14%. Overall it was a good experience and we left with no complaints.
The King of Ribs!!! Finally got to take the whole family here and have a dinner. Split the King Rack between us all and then two kids ordered from the kids menu. We all left stuffed!!! The ribs continue to amaze me how they come out perfectly every time!! Seriously they have the fall off the bone corner owned. The flavor is perfect and the crispy outside is just right. Definitely a staple you have to try when in the Cincinnati area.
Started off with some bread and it just tasted like normal sandwich bread, but they threw it in the microwave so it was super hard to chew. Obviously came here for the ribs and it was pretty disappointing, the meat is no different from what you would get from bigger chain restaurants like Chilis, BJs, etc… and the BBQ sauce was tomato based which I don’t like. I do love the ambience of the restaurant and although this food wasn’t my style it felt like I was eating a warm dinner at grandmas. The food tasted really homey which is probably why people still come here.
First time at this restaurant. It's located in a very nice neighborhood. They have so much sports memorabilia throughout the restaurant. OMG this place is so big I couldn't believe it. The straws/chips were so so good. I forgot to take a photo. I was told that the wedge salad was delicious and the bacon was amazing. I really enjoyed the sandwich and the bun was nice and warm with butter on it. Our server Russ was very very good.
