This is a great place to visit if you want a change of environment. Computer lab has plenty of computers with decent Internet connectivity. They are currently hosting county elections in the library (18FEB26), which means this is a voting location. The line to vote did not seem that long (I am still in the process of waiting for my voter registration card). The Veterans park is connected to the same parking lot as the library for those that want to take a stroll after reading books. They also happen to be building a Veterans museum, which is not open at the moment due to construction. The park has a station to get trash bags for pets, but there were no trash bags available. Library rules might be contradictory with state, national, and international laws. Lupita 💙 Vanessa 🖤

I mean, it's okay; the people that work there mustn't know that for the past 20+ years, homeless people go to a library to cool down, or warm up. It's scary when I'm homeless and can't even find a place to cool down/warm up, use the restroom, and yes, even READ BOOKS. If I were you, I would make sure to never receive bad news (in person OR over the phone, OR even the newspaper obituaries) in this library, because they will be swift to remind you of the to library's strict policy of silence at ALL times. "PEOPLE. ARE. READING! I'm gonna need you to leave, ma'am, you're disturbing the other patrons of this fine establishment."

I have lived in conroe for 35 years and went to the library here for the first time for early voting. The library overall is very nice and clean. The staff however was very unhelpful at helping me navigate the different book areas and somewhat rude which is very disappointing. The only reason I am giving 5 stars is becwhse I did go in the geneology and local history section and the young blonde lady at the front desk was beyond helpful. She showed me around the room and explained all of the different things they have and also showed me the preservation stuff they have. She helped me find a cemetery record of my great great grandmother that I have not been able to find for years and scanned it to a file for me to see when I’m on my laptop at home.. Despite the other library people not want

The Montgomery County, Public library has so many things to offer that you don’t have to live in Montgomery county or even read books to find this library a great place to visit either in person or online. It is the model of a modern library. It has books, of course, but also has an impressive online Selection of digital readings that’s available across the county library system. It has equipment that allow you to copy VHS to DVD, make prints from negatives, copy pages out of a book and flatten them and last, but not least it has a high-speed photograph copier where you feed stacks of your photographs and it will copy them on your Zip drive much faster than feeding them individually. Best of all, it’s free. And if all those features are not enough, it has so has an excellent genealogy sec

They have fantastic services, but every time my kid plays in the children's play section the whole family ends up sick for a week+ Every. Single. Time. To the point where it's very clearly not a coincidence. I love this library, but I just don't think I'll be taking my little one here anymore
