Had such a great experience here last night (2/21/26). The atmosphere was lovely, and the live music added so much! Our server, Khalil was attentive but not overbearing, knowledgeable and friendly. Most importantly, the food was outstanding. We shared the crab fried rice as an appetizer (even though it’s technically a side), and ordered the salmon, short rib, scallops and seafood cobb salad. Every single thing was stellar. Such a great night! We’ll be back for sure.

In a world full of premium steakhouses, Monterey Grill is still trying to find its place in the market. In my opinion, it falls short when it comes to uniqueness both in flavoring and price point. We visited for our anniversary, and I will say the atmosphere is romantic. The dining area is dimly lit, and the live band adds a nice touch, especially with the lead singer engaging with guests. Service was top-notch from both the hostess and the waiter. However, there were a few issues. They couldn’t locate my reservation booked through Resy, though luckily it wasn’t too busy. The dry-aged NY strip was tender but lacked flavor inside. The sea bass was bland as well, including the noodles and veggies. The tuna poke was also a disappointment. I highly recommend other steakhouses like Steak 48 if

Such a Great restaurant! We have been 2 times so far and nothing times were great! The service is very personable and staff are nice. They do live music and the Feb 13 2026 performer was wonderful! The hostess Hailey and our waitress Erica were also awesome! Its nice for a date night, dinner with friends, or an after work drink. Its always a good stop. Will be back!

My wife and I dined here last night and overall had a really great experience. From the moment we walked in, the hostess was warm, welcoming, and set the tone for the evening. Our waitress was absolutely on point—attentive, friendly, and made sure we never needed a thing. The drinks were slam’n 🔥, easily one of the highlights of the night. Our entrées were tasty and well prepared, and we truly enjoyed most of the food. The only downside for us was the meatball appetizer—it just didn’t hit the mark compared to everything else we had. That said, great service, solid food, and excellent drinks made for an enjoyable night out. We’d definitely come back and try more from the menu.

Disappointed. We have never had such horrific Brussels sprouts in 60 years of dining out. And the Thanksgiving Surf and Turf Special had the worst lobster tail ever served to mankind. Study the photo. It’s obvious to the most casual observer it is not fresh. And to prove my point we left the restaurant to go see Wicked II and let’s just say I missed the middle part of the movie. And Black Friday was quite liquidating, so to speak. We’re one and done here. There are just too many other restaurants to try.
