Montclair Public Library

I was really impressed with Montclair Public Library. As soon as you enter there is a nice and warm feeling that I would always get as a kid going to the library. There’s plenty to do here with 3 floors, a ton of sections and even a cafe. The children’s section especially is really well planned out and maintained. We need more libraries like this.

Great for kids! Fish tank with live fish, magnetic board with magnatiles & gears, Lego creations on display, Lego table, literacy kits with flashcards available for loan, playhouse big enough for kids to go in, play kitchen, colorful alphabet carpet, stuffed animals, motivational signage & more!

Had the best experience when I went to apply for a passport today. The process was quick and easy and I even had my photo taken there. I was happy to get a new library card while I was there as well! Very pleased and highly recommend.

We renewed our daughter’s passports today and it was a wonderful experience. The process could not have been easier or less stressful. I made the appointment online a few days ago and someone from the library called me the next day to review what I needed to bring and the forms that were required. I received a text reminder and email and when we arrived they were ready to see us right away. The person who helped us was courteous and quick. This is the ONLY way to do passports. Highly, highly recommend!!

We received excellent service when applying for my child’s passport. Gio was efficient and very pleasant. We then headed upstairs to the children’s section where we spent some time looking through their vast book selection. Great experience overall.
