I would have given more stars, however that became impossible due to both the overall experience and the completely inappropriate way it was handled at the end. To start, we called ahead to ask how busy the restaurant was and were told it was not busy. Based on that, we brought our family, including two young children, for dinner. When we arrived, our table was not clean and we had to wait for staff to come clean it. There were multiple other tables in the same condition. We ordered our drinks and food. Our children ordered a grilled cheese and a cheeseburger. My husband and I ordered prime rib with mashed potatoes and gravy, along with appetizers, mozzarella sticks and beer-battered fries. Worst wait staff ever. Chased us to the parking lot with out 2 young kids after spending 200 for dinner and 10% tip. Dirty table, dirty plates, food not cooked to order and then afterwards the 10% tip wasn't enough... bs thats the worst part who chases ppl into a parking lot. Asking was the food ok, what was the issue.. well here ya go... your service and dishwasher suck. Period.

When im out on the sled riding, this is one of my first stops for food. Rooms across the street are good and clean in case you need to stay the night or wanna stay the weekend. Reasonable rates

This hotel is below low budget. The beds were very old and hard, nothing updated in any way. No heat controls in our room. It was so hot we had to open windows in 10 degree weather. We booked a 2 night stay but left after the first night. We did not care about getting a refund at that point we could not have stayed there another night.

My favorite place in the Tug Hill region. Great drink and good selection with quick service. Bartender for New Years Eve and later on the week was outstanding. Chicken wings and prime rib are the BEST!
