Monroe’s Bakery is such a hidden gem. I tried a few different pastries and everything was incredibly fresh with amazing flavor and texture. The chocolate chip cookie was delicious, and the apple pastry ended up being my absolute favorite. I also got a vanilla cream pastry, which was pretty good as well. The service was friendly, and the place has that “diamond in the rough” / hole-in-the-wall vibe that makes it feel extra special. Prices felt fair for the quality, especially considering how good the pastries were. Highly recommend stopping by—especially for the cookie!
I want to give a big shout out to Jamie. She is absolutely amazing. I live in Vegas and my mom lives out in Maryland. It’s her birthday today and Jamie delivered the most amazing cupcakes to her. Truly no words can express the gratitude I have for making her special day even more special. The cupcakes are so affordable and came out beautifully. Ordered 12 cupcakes: Vanilla Blueberry filled, Chocolate Strawberry filled, vanilla, and chocolate.
This shop is adorable, the owners are extremely friendly, and the food...I don't have words. It's a small space but they have so many options (I purchased a nice mix of cookies, donuts, and pastries) I had a hard time deciding what to start with! The chocolate chip cookie croissant won. It's possibly the best things I've ever eaten. Crispy, buttery crossing stuffed with a gooey chocolate chip cookie filling. Unbelievably good!
Monroe’s bakery is phenomenal. I ordered my husband a birthday cake - but wanted it to be fun and different … good god, the cake they created was stunning. The color & sparkle was everything. The cake was SO delicious and the icing was so fresh & yummy. & I also picked up a bunch of different cookies to try…seriously the best cookies I have ever had. 100/10.
We’ve ordered twice and both times we’ve been in awe of the cakes. Great service and super friendly!
