Monroe Township Public Works Department in Williamstown, NJ (Gloucester County)

Just moved here two years ago and I’ll tell you they do absolutely nothing when it comes to snow and ice road clearance. My whole neighborhood was never touched this last huge snowstorm we had that dumped on us not to mention Winslow Road was never touched either. It’s ridiculous! Almost $10,000 a year in taxes for what?!?! We can’t even get our neighborhoods and our surrounding roads plowed. They’ve got plenty of workers and plenty of time and plenty of heads up to handle it!

The women at the front desk are purely miserable. I can only assume their husbands haven’t come near them in yesrs and I totally understand why. I asked for a second trash can to cover the excess waste produced by my cleaning company that I run from my home. It’s a business address. Rude, wide, red-haired woman at the desk acted as if I was trying to steal from her. She also couldn’t understand that it’s the same exact waste as what’s produced from inside my home (paper, cling/plastic wrap, food wrappers, SMALL cardboard, etc) She then proceeded to project onto me that I would be using the trash receptacle for means other than what it was designed for. We had a stop sign at the end of our street that you could not even read anymore,. Kept meaning to contact someone at the township To replace it but just figured that would be a hassle and kept putting it off. Finally called and what an experience, they were out the next morning to take care of it.
