Monico’s Restaurant Bar & Taqueria

Me and My Wife shared some elote, a burrito, and the loaded nachos. Unfortunately, we were pretty underwhelmed with the food. However, the service was very good and the atmosphere overall especially considering it was the Super Bowl. It’s hard to find good Mexican food in Hawaii unfortunately, but this place is good if you’re looking for a bar with Mexican food however they weren’t even serving alcohol.

We went to Monico's as a party of six, including two kids. We had great service and they were accommodating to the children as they ordered. Food came out fast and we were all really happy with our meals. Would definitely recommend.

Recently opened Mexican restaurant in Koloa- open air dining, nice breeze, clean and fresh seating, excellent food. “Best carnitas I’ve ver had” came from my wife. Ono fish tacos were a 10!

Food was OK. Service was OK. The menu was kind of limited. It was kind of expensive. We had the fish burrito. It tasted good.

We were happy to stumble on this establishment when our intended restaurant was not open. Terrific, flavorful menu. We had a variety of different plates at our table, all of which were thoroughly enjoyed. Hot salsa options available. Chips are fresh. Great service. Reasonable prices.
