Monarcas Mexican Restaurant Bar & Grill #3

Went to see what all the fuss was about and turned out to be some really good food! I would have gave 5 stats but wife's black beans came out cold even though plate was sizzling. I recommend the fresh quacomole it is fantastic and they prepare it at your table! Everyone was nice and inviting and decor gave a comfortable feel. Will be back again!

I know this is a new restaurant, this was our first visit and last. It was early lunch time we stood at the front for over 10 mins waiting for guest service to be seated. Finally seated, started out great... got out drink orders. Placed our food orders, took forever. Got a few orders and others were still waiting for there food. Once it was brought, it was not correct. We were still waiting for chips and salsa for the kids and drinks wvwn after we asked 3 times. The plates looked like they were just rinsed, not washed. Some plates still had food spots and grease throughout the plates. Dont think you can see it on the pics well. Food had no seasonings at all, very plain. Very little spots of cheese on the nachos. Service was non-existent. I have been in customer service for over 20 years,

Second time visiting. Much better than my first time! We were seated with in 10 minutes. Got all of our food fairly quick. I ordered a steak quesadilla and my family ordered Birria tacos and the molcajete. Food was good! Was it the best quesadilla and Birria I have ever had? No, but it was good! The star of our experience was the guacamole and the molcajete!! It was so good!! Our waitress made the guacamole fresh at our table and it was delicious!

This is the first day they opened in Cheraw. It is delicious! The food is amazing! Its more authentic style Mexican food which is so good! I definitely recommend trying this restaurant you will not be disappointed!

First visit, They don't welcome you and maybe because it's always so packed. I must say the food is excellent and well prepared. The lighting is beautiful and bright along with great music. We ordered take out, however there is always a wait which is okay. I would recommend this restaurant.
