This place is such a hidden gem. I tried their omakase sushi combo today and it was excellent. • The uni was fresh and creamy, with a natural sweetness. • The albacore tuna was tender and lightly seared with yuzu salt — a thoughtful touch. • The chutoro was rich and buttery, definitely the highlight of the set. • Yellowtail and sea bream were very fresh, each with a clean, distinct flavor. • The scallop was soft and slightly sweet, with a pleasant creamy finish. • The ikura was perfectly seasoned — no extra soy sauce needed. • The BBQ eel had just the right amount of sauce and a gentle smoky aroma. This meal really reminded me of what good sushi should taste like — fresh, balanced, and full of care. Looking forward to coming back and trying the future omakase.

I got the spicy tuna bowl on special and ate it before I could take a photo. This place is heaven, a blessing that it’s next to where I volunteer so I can enjoy it again and again

Some of the freshest sushi you’ll have in Brooklyn. The cooked food is comfort in a bowl. Indoor seating consists of a small lunch counter so it’s best not to linger too long after your meal. Otherwise order takeout and enjoy your lunch by the pier. Staff and chef are welcoming and friendly despite the stress of the lunchtime crush.

Momo Test Kitchen is a hidden gem. The food is perfect every time. I recommend the bento box if you want a balanced meal. The sides are so fresh and the tastes are varied. I really enjoyed the eggplant side, the burdock and the seasoned greens. The kaarage is delicious. Really everything on the menu is so good. I feel that if there was more Momo Test Kitchen in the American diet we would all be healthier.

A true hidden gem in Sunset Park. The restaurant is a little hard to find if you don't know where to look, but the food is well worth it. A great selection of Japanese entrees, sides and beverages expertly prepared. The sides change most days, so it is exciting to see what delicious food is on the menu each time you visit. The atmosphere is intimate and inviting and the staff are incredibly kind. Always a pleasure enjoying a meal here or taking it to go.
