The reviews I read of this restaurant made it look phenomenal. Unfortunately, it wasn’t what I expected. When we got to Momo sushi, the restaurant was completely empty. Usually, that means you either missed the dinner rush, or this could be a red flag. Maybe both. The waiter was fantastic. He was kind of quirky, yet friendly, and kept thinking us for coming in. Again, this could mean, just not many people come in the restaurant, or he could just be overly friendly? Our food arrived very quickly, almost too quickly, and that’s when I felt something was a little “off”. My wife’s miso soup was not mixed, it was pure water on top, indicating it was instant made. Momo Sushi: A 5-Star Gem in Cedar Park! Wow, just had to share my experience with Momo Sushi in Cedar Park, TX – seriously, this place might just be one of the best sushi spots I've ever tried, and I've tried quite a few! From the moment we walked in, everything was just on point. The service was incredibly fast, which is always a huge plus, and the restaurant itself has a really nice, inviting vibe. The sushi was absolutely incredible, and the presentation was just as impressive. You can tell they put a lot of care into every single dish. Honestly, I'm not sure what else to say other than it was just that good. Try the Panic Roll (if you like it spicy) I'm already looking forward to my next visit. I will definitely be back!

First time at momos and had a really good experience. The sushi was fresh and had thick cut slices of fish. They had a large selection of rolls with the a variety of preparations.

Having a roll called “Russian” on the menu in today’s world situation feels like a questionable choice. To me, it reflects the political stance of the owner and can be perceived as support for a terrorist state. I’m writing this especially for Ukrainians who were forced to flee the war and would not expect or want to see such an unpleasant surprise in a menu. The food itself was tasty. However, the staff didn’t seem to know the menu well, which was surprising. There was also no real selection of non-alcoholic drinks — nothing interesting, just standard American options like Coca-Cola. I’d also like to mention the Dragon Roll — it wasn’t fully topped with eel, and there were noticeable gaps filled with avocado instead. First time we ordered food it was from door dash and the chicken katsu was great, amazing even. Then we went to eat at the restaurant itself and while the service was great the chicken katsu was off, the meat was dark in parts, and very gamey, I even questioned if we got the chicken katsu or if it was the pork tonkatsu... Either way the chicken was way off and consistency is key for me to rate a restaurant highly.
