Ok so Saturday they were only open from 6-10. If you’re not familiar with a non-typical Caribbean restaurant, you’d be off-put by this place. It’s not your typical restaurant they have like 2 or 3 tables but there’s old men (probably family) sitting there talking in Creole. There’s no menu anywhere, so if you’re not familiar with the food already you won’t know. The food isn’t labeled and they in the tin pans. However, the food is amazing. The piklis is so good/spicy. The griot and black rice were so flavorful. I will come back. The ambiance isn’t great, but the authenticity of the food is what drives their business.

I ordered the fried pork with black rice. First time getting the platter and I’m chewing on more fat than pork. Not what I had expected. I’d rather wait for food to be properly prepared than get a rush job with food prepped poorly. The white pieces have a thick layer of pork fat. What a shame especially since I gave a tip.

That's a waste of 15 dollars rice hard and look like food been there since the day before after she put my food in the plate she went to put it in microwave for 3 munites avoid the place the giving people leftover food never again haitian restaurant is the worst place to eat from the don't care about you money they have the worst customer service in the entire world 👎

Love their food !! Been going there since i was young. Still taste the same 20yrs later.

Update: The food is still delicious. The customer service has gotten better. However, they have reduced their portion sizes. The former small is now the large and they have a new smaller small. You can now get maybe 2 meals out of the medium, which is still a decent deal. The food is delicious. It tastes just like your mom's, dad's grand pappy's, auntie's, etc. The portion sizes are generous. I can usually get 3 meals out of their large portion. I took 1 star off because customer service is horrible . The people at the counter range from aloof on a good to straight up disrespectful on a bad day. Also, there is no consistent menu. You have to call ahead to see what available. I'll definitely keep coming here because it's the best Haitian food in this area.
