MOCHA MOOSE EXPRESS NORTH POLE

I stopped by there a few days ago about 10:20 A.M. So there was not much of a line. One car in front of me. So I waited... and waited. 20 minutes later the car in front of me finally leaves and the lane on the other side is open, I figure that it will be quick and easy. I order and the barista was extremely rude and short with me. I sat and waited patiently and after a long while she handed me my drink witch was very watered down and my bagel was smooshed and burnt and had absolutely no flavor. I have been all over Fairbanks and ordered coffee from every single coffee hut in town. And this is by far the absolute worst coffee hut in Fairbanks. I would not even consider a gift card or anything. Horrible service - watered down drinks - very rude. And sadly from looking at the other posts this

To preface, we’ve been coming to this coffee hut for almost 2 years. We’ve never really had issues, sometimes the drinks don’t taste the same quality as previous, but still enjoyable. The service is always good. Well, we got coffee a bit ago, our usual order of 2 ice rages. My partner goes to order his drink, and the barista doesn’t even let him finish his order before she closes the window. We thought maybe she was helping another customer and would come back to finish our order, but no. She had made the drink that he wasn’t able to specify what all he had wanted in it, just a basic ice rage with no additions. Oh. My goodness, the lady was so nice, kind, and pretty!! I asked her what her favorite coffee is, and I said I want the largest one, she likes hers cold, and I do too!! It was soooo freaking good, a White Mocha with Caramel Bruleé and Salted Caramel with whip.

Seems like the baristas aren't comfortable letting you know if they can't make something. We asked for something off of the online menu, the Biscoff Cookie Latte with Cold Foam. They said they could make it but we got an overly sweet latte that did not come with cold foam or biscoff cookie. I guess we got lucky lol. We where looking for a sweeter drink, but it just tasted like gas station coffee with too many sugar packets added. We also tried to get an iced espresso with almond milk topped with some sweet foam, but we ended up getting an iced americano with what seemed like unsweetened nonfat milk on the top. Today my husband ordered two hot mocha’s, a breakfast bagel, and an ice rage. For a little under 40$ it was definitely a letdown. The breakfast bagel was a sloppy microwave sandwich and the mochas were like watered down hot chocolates. I’m a little confused on how this place got such high ratings.
