MJ'S Grill Mother Jug's Wewoka

So glad we “took a chance” on MJ’s Grill. We spent 6 days on the road heading to and from the Texas Hill Country to Ohio. This was by far the best stop on the road. Off the beaten path, for sure. But a great rural drive through Oklahoma into Seminole Nation. Worth the time. Worth the drive. Clearly surviving and thriving in an area and a town that has seen better times, since 2011 is an indication of the quality. Recommend!

Fantastic mom 'n pop diner! Breakfast and lunch are delicious. You can tell they use fresh ingredients. Service is always friendly. I definitely recommend. Don't forget to grab a slice of homemade cake on the way out.

The restaurant doesn’t provide any information on the origin of their name, but for me I can’t help but recall “Mother, Jugs and Speed.” And if you know what that is (without Googling it) you are freaking old. Mother Jug’s Grill is easy to find. Located on the main drag through town, Highway 62. The food is excellent, the service is wonderful and could not be more friendly. I was delighted with the food and the warm welcoming feeling from the staff. It is a motorcycle themed grill (décor), a full café/diner menu, breakfast through lunch. My wife spotted their Indian Taco and I had a Cheeseburger. Today is 9/18/2024, National Cheeseburger Day. What else would I have ordered, duh! 1st time husband and I have come here, it was a nice little find with home cooking. The atmosphere was homey and cozy. Biker friendly. Lunch crowd was whoa busy come around 2 it thins out. The waitress was awesome she had our glasses full and the sweet tea is great! Home cut French fries, the best! For sure coming back. Oh and there is plenty of parking.

Service was great and food was delicious. Today I tried their mushroom Swiss burger and I am in love ! I will be back to try other menu items.
