Cozy place with window seating, I can't wait to eat here more often! I got the brisket noodle soup and, while it wasn't piping hot as I'd liked, the brisket was tender, there was soybean curd, and the perfect combination of 5 spice, crispy garlic, and peppers. Very worth the promised 15 minute wait - they should add another crew member because that phone was RINGING so you know people love this place!! Chewy boba - it was a divine eating experience
Picture this: a student, hungry, upset, about to go to their 5 hour studio without lunch. Due to having no hot water, the school cafe was closed. On the brink of starvation, the student and two other victims of the tragedy made the 7 minute trek to M&J Teriyaki. The three of them ordered a chicken teriyaki, a beek teriyaki, and a special eel teriyaki. Also two mango milk tea and a coffee milk tea. The food was so good (especially the beef. it was really good) The students were saved. Thank you M&J Teriyaki. You saved us. Also the price vs portion ratio is very good and i love it here. I come here all the time.
Decent food with adequate portions. Wish they would include stir fried vegetables as a side with their entrees rather than cold, spicy salads. That said, the eel and salmon teriyaki were flavorful, and their fried rice and noodles were also pretty good. Scallion pancakes had a nice texture to it, but they served it with duck sauce instead of soy sauce. For the price, I also wish they provided larger portions.
This place caught me by surprise. I was hungry after doing some exercise in the nearby park. The first time I came I ordered a beef teriyaki. I was pleasantly surprised by the portions and the flavor of the sauce. This is my second time coming here and I got the chicken teriyaki with fried rice. The sheer amount of chicken you get is a great value. The chicken also has a wonderful sear on the outside, giving it extra flavor while remaining tender. The fried rice also has great texture and flavor with plenty of crispy bits mixed in. I am going to be coming here regularly from now on.
Great casual place with generous portions. If you're at the fine art museum it's just across the park
