Miyako Hibachi Sushi & Steak House

First off, I'd like to state that this rating is in comparison to other Mom & Pop establishments and not Michelin star places. That'd be unfair to both parties involved. With that said, I really enjoyed myself here. The staff were very attentive and expeditious! I received my order probably about 5 minutes after I ordered. Granted it was earlier in the day and not many patrons but I still believe they deserve the recognition for it. There were plenty of seating available even for a large party if you have one. The establishment was clean on the outside and inside. In addition, the bathroom was really clean and tidy as well. I ordered Sashimi that came with 6 other rolls and gyoza shrimp. The shrimp were so hot I actually had to let them sit a while before eating, which is great f

We don't get hibachi very often and this is where we go. Its an hour from our home. We were quickly seated. There were only two others at the table and Japanese grills will often make you wait until the table is full or close to it, but they did not. The cooking performance is pretty standard and he did fine. The food was excellent. I "upgraded" to fried rice without really knowing what I was doing (because I have a hard time understanding anything besides clear English) but I was glad I did. I never eat much of the rice, but I found this delicious and ate a bunch. I had filet mignon and shrimp, and my wife had chicken and shrimp. I'm not big on vegetables, but this is definitely an exception! I loved the steak but ran out of room. Next time I'm going to skip the shrimp. It's not a cheap

Pretty busy night. But they are always busy at this location . Ordered fry California sushi roll and vegetable fried rice and veggie tempura . Our waitress was very quick to approach our table and take our order, however after our food arrived about 20 minutes later, which was great. However our waitress never return the entire time we were eating. She did not come back to ask us if we needed refills on our drinks, she did not come back and ask if everything was okay. Now I know that they are busy however it would have been nice to get some refreshed lemonade. The other party had a glass of the sweet red wine which was delicious from what I'm told. We express to the waitress at the end will be looked for her to get our check that we would prefer her to have come back a bit more frequent

The food was ok. Have had better. The amount I spent for three people. I would have expected better. But it want all bad. The chef we had was a good guy and entertaining. I would recommend for anymore to try for themselves.

The place is cool, but I dont think that tables should be directly across from the kitchen where you can see staff standing around talking, with half of a curtain.This is definitely not a good atmosphere to look at. The hibachi was good, but they do not give enough eggs mixed in with the fried rice, as it was stretched out and was very minimal. The food was good but could've used a little more seasoning, especially on the beef and rice. Overall, I would still recommend and go back.
