Mitchell’s Ice Cream (Strongsville Shop)

Visited Mitchell's after spending 90 minutes at nearby activate (very active and a total blast) and our group was looking for a treat after the workout and activities. Staff was very friendly and kindly assisted my nephew and his friends as they wanted to sample a few flavors before they picked their choice for milkshakes. I ended up ordering the peanut butter fudge with a chocolate peanut butter cup base for the ice cream. Absolutely loved what I got and would order it again but try a different base just to mix things up. The chocolate ice cream with the fudge and peanut butter sauce was fantastic. Parking was very easy and during our visit, it was busy but with a very short wait.

The interiors were really nice with a toy train running over the heads of the customers. And the ambience around the location is great. Service was with a smile and they really pile on the ice cream and timings. But I found the ice cream by itself pretty average. Might be I didn’t choose the right flavour. Couldn’t find much of a difference from any other chain.

Absolutely the BEST! THE ICE CREAM was fresh and extremely tasty. We had raspberry sorbet and strawberry ice cream. The raspberry sorbet tasted like a fresh bowl of raspberries! The strawberry ice cream was fresh but packed fruit. It was a bit pricey at $4.95 a scoop...and no larger than your average Baskin Robbins. But it was a beautiful place to visit and I would highly recommend a visit!

Staff was very friendly and understanding with allergies. They had a book available with ingredients for each ice cream and we were happy to see many didn’t have artificial dyes. Ice cream was great and the store is huge, so much space and nicely decorated.

We visited on the 4th of July and were delighted by the beautiful, charming floral decorations in the colors of the US flag. There were plenty of tables and chairs, making it ideal for groups. The atmosphere was friendly, with numerous delicious options to choose from. Highly recommended!
