Mitchell's Breakfast Burritos

Me and my husband went to Mitchell’s for the first time today. When we walked in we were greeted very nicely by rob/Robert which was the owner. We ended up ordering 3 different burritos. Everything is made fresh when you order it so it takes about 10 to 15 minutes but it is well worth the wait. Best breakfast burrito we have had in a very long time. We will definitely be going back.

I ordered two bacon, egg, and cheese burritos. One with hash brown inside and one without. There’s a lot left to be desired with the burritos for a couple reason. I tried a basic burrito not sure if I will go back for another. 1.The size for the price is questionable ($15). The filling was average (not skimpy or overfilled.) The hash brown was seasoned and crispy. 2. No salsa or picante available for Togo orders so the burrito was sorta dry. Ketchup was provided. 3. Overall ingredients tasted fresh and I could taste each item in most bites. Customer service was nice and food was ready promptly. I do appreciate them opening early (6am) for us morning commuters.

First time trying Mitchell’s at their location on south Main Street and it definitely won’t be my last. As a travel nurse from NC who is also a big foodie, I always love to get food recommendations. One of my coworkers was talking about this place when we were leaving work earlier this week. So of course after I got off of work this morning, I went right on down and got me a burrito. Hands down one of the best breakfast burritos I’ve ever had.

I rolled up to Mitchell knowing I’d chosen wisely the moment I saw two West Memphis city police officers parked outside, happily munching burritos on their break. If it’s good enough for the guys who know every hidden food gem in town, it’s definitely good enough for me. I went all in and ordered Gailene’s Meat Lovin’ Burrito (because why pick one meat when you can have the whole squad?). This monster is packed—sausage, bacon, ham, and more, all tucked inside like a meaty surprise party. The sausage stood out especially—it had this bold, well-seasoned flavor that didn’t just play backup, it sang lead vocals. Let's start with the service. When we walked into the door, we felt welcomed and almost like family. Outstanding, friendly, and welcoming! They took their time and walked us through where the names of dishes originated from family members, super cute concept. The food was good, and they were patient making adjustments for the very picky eater in my party. I had the Gailene's, and let me tell you, it was packed with meat and flavor! I also tried the Karen, a bit on the sweet side for me, but it was flavorful. It would have been nice if there were some sit-down tables, I was enjoying the company, but prefer to sit while eating. Nice family-owned local joint. I highly recommend giving them a try if you're in the area.
