Mitchell Hawleyville Deli and Cafe

Stopped in for something light for lunch. Got the Tuna Mac salad and OMG was it good! Perfect blend of everything and not over seasoned. First time here. They have a huge selection of drinks and snacks, as well as a deli sandwich counter, and coffee. I’ll be back for sure.

This maybe a first for me. What a great deli, service and gas stop. The staff at both the deli and the convenience store side couldn’t have been more friendly. EVERYTHING was clean, neat, and well cared for. If you’re on 84 and need a break- this is the place to stop!!

This is a top-notch gas station and deli that offers a variety of services to its customers, making it one of the best in Newtown, CT. First and foremost, I must highlight their competitive gas prices. It's always nice to know that you can fill up your tank at a fair price! Moving on to their deli, I must say that it's absolutely fantastic. They offer a wide range of freshly made sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other delicious food items. The deli also offers both inside and outside sitting areas, which is great if you want to enjoy your food in a relaxed setting. Another aspect that deserves a high five is their coffee machines and quality coffee! The coffee is always fresh and the machines are very easy to use. I find it very convenient to grab a cup of coffee on my way to I-84. Final

Great place to stop for gas and a sandwich service is wonderful and Joe is cool as hell tell him Will Tee told you this place is great and to make sure to stop and grab a bite to eat. I got the California Club on wheat bread with Swiss cheese and it's A-1 official issue thanks Joe you get 5 stars all the way across the board from me

The food here is really good! But the service is not stellar. Employees often get frustrated if you customize an order or add/remove toppings, rather than ordering from their preset menu.
