Mitalena Coffee

Jonathan is incredibly. He gave me a tour. He ordered real Jamaican blue Hawaiian coffee beans. Roasted them for me in an hour fresh straight from Jamaica. Not the fake stuff from Amazon. I’m a customer for life. Once you taste best coffee in the world you won’t go back to Starbucks price is cheaper too. This place is incredible and the service to match it.

I have been purchasing Green coffee beans from Mitalena for many years. I’ve never been disappointed. I always enjoyed picking them up in person, as speaking to the gentlemen there was always educational. I’m sorry I don’t remember their names, but they know coffee. Today I’m roasting Tanzanian peaberry, Kenya peaberry and Brazil Bourbon Santos. These last don’t have bourbon BTW…

WOW! I lived in the Spring Branch area for almost 20-years and did not know of Mitalena! As a fellow "coffee snob" - there are a handful of quality coffee roasters in Houston. Mitalena has the coffee selection and precise profiling for that need. Met Johnathan when I picked up my order of Tanzania Peaberry and he was very kind to give me a quick tour and shared his new green batches of Kona and Jamaican Blue Mountain. Since my visit, I have shared Mitalena to my clients and friends. Truly a gem in our city!

I usually give businesses a fair chance, but the rude and unprofessional behavior I experienced over the phone was unacceptable. Being hung up on twice and spoken to with clear attitude is disgraceful YES I KNOW HOW TO PLACE A ONLINE ORDER Sir! I prefer the phone experience. You’ve lost a potential regular customer. I strongly recommend that management consider disciplinary action! or retraining of that individual. This kind of conduct damages your reputation and drives business away.

I was a fool for buying my coffee at a grocery store considering Mitalena is right in the neighborhood. Ordering online is easy and they grind the beans to your specifications. I’ve been forced to switch to decaf and Mitalena has made that switch rather painless. I can’t say enough good things about my first bag, except that I can’t wait to buy more!
