Good but not great. Service was fairly slow for Tuesday evening and not very attentive. I was actually quite surprised that they were out of many items on the menu, especially since it was earlier in the evening (tuna, tartare, and apparently sparkling water we’re not available). The branzino was ok but overly flavorful. Truffle fries were decent.
Lovely ambience, yummy escargot. The portions are very generous. We ordered 2 apps and 2 entres, way too much for 2 people. The duck with the ossos bucco was very very heavy, let alone having finished foie gras as an app. The foie gras was also huge. Service was lovely. I celebrated my birthday there and got a candle on a ball pf ice cream, perfect, because I did NOT have space for dessert.
Nothing but great things to say about Mistral every time we come here. Columbus Hospitality Group is by far the best hospitality group in all of Boston. We celebrated our engagement at Ostra, our wedding at Mooo, and our anniversaries and Valentines dinners at Mistral. Had a wonderful 2nd anniversary date night with our wonderful waiter Savad, who was extremely kind, caring, attentive, and honest with recommendations. 10/10 for service, food, and atmosphere! Special shoutout to Jose at the bar too whom welcomed us so warmly, many years ago now during our first visit to Mistral. The perfect date night spot. I cannot recommend this place enough.
The food is delicious, the environment is fantastic, the best is the service, everyone is warm and nice, we came on Saturday night which was busy time, we waited for a while, the waitress politely apologized for many times. Our server is Diego who is a very nice young man, he is a polite, warm, nice guy, he made us laugh, and we spent a very happy night in mistral because of him! We definitely will come again
Mistral is unapologetically elegant—and it makes an impression the moment you walk in. Located near the Theater District, this is a high-end French restaurant that feels like an event in itself. Reservations are required and only open within a 30-day window, which adds to the sense that this is a place people plan for. The space is stunning. Soaring ceilings, dramatic scale, and gorgeous chandeliers create a sense of grandeur that immediately elevates the evening. It’s the kind of room where people dress up—perfect for special occasions, group celebrations, or intimate romantic dinners where atmosphere matters as much as the food. The menu is firmly rooted in classic, mainstream French cuisine. There are many options to choose from, along with an extensive and impressive wine list that c
