Mister Spots Ann Arbor

(Last visited July 13, 2023.) The cheesesteak game in southeast Michigan is pretty impressive, so I've made it a mission of mine to check out every one of these spots that someone recommends to me. So here we are today in Ann Arbor to check out Mr. Spots! Atmosphere/Appearance: It's as simple as you want it to be and as unchanged as ever. University of Michigan sports memorabilia and pictures plaster the walls. There's the quintessential drop-ceiling, light wooden paneling on the walls, rounded bench seats and TVs for menus. I don't remember music playing, but there had to be, right? Service: You just go to the counter and order your food then it's brought right out to you. Nothing crazy and we had no issues. Their Philly cheesesteaks are too good- The meat was juicy, cooked onions were flavourful, and the cheese in between all of it just made for an amazing sandwich. Their 10” sandwiches are more like a foot long too. The restaurant has a very old school vibe to it, looks like it’s straight out of the late 80’s. Cozy and comfortable. The folks working there are super friendly too. Can’t ask for anything more.

Mister Spots was highly recommended to us by a coworker and they over exceeded my expectations. Steak and cheese hoagie was amazing. I definitely will be going back! I highly recommend this place to anyone who has not ate there before!

For a local place it was all right. We were just up the road at Yost Center for my son's hockey and wanted to grab a quick bite. I got the steak sub and a bag of Lay's potato chips. I'd say it was a little better than going to Subway. Love the fact that they have Pepsi

Best Phillies outside of Philly! The girl at the service counter was really friendly and it was obvious this place is well loved!
