Mississippi Grounds

Went for breakfast and coffee this morning while visiting Cleveland. First time. Food was great, best biscuits and gravy I’ve had in a while. Outdoor seating area was nice for the kids to play games.

I hate to speak anything negative of local owned businesses. And this isn't so much as a negative as it is a constructive criticism. Your morning people should be morning people. What I mean by that is this was my first time in the place and the attitude of the two women and the older mam that fixed my coffees wasn't bad... it was like it lacked personality. No smiles, no thank you for coming, just here's the drinks, what you want, and move on. He did make some excellent coffees though. I'll give him that. But my next coffee will come from somewhere else. Just didn't feel welcomed honestly. I do hope they do well.though.

The absolute worst coffee and crappy service. I try my best not to leave bad reviews. However, I feel the need to warn others so they do not waste their time or money here. Passing through Cleveland and stopped in this neat little coffee shop. Well the decor is where the good vibes stopped. The staff were very unfriendly and rude. I feel like I just bought coffee from a TSA agent. My latte was way too milky and when I asked if there was any cold crew available to add to it I was told there was nothing that she could do about it. My first and my last visit here. Please avoid wasting your money here. ETA- my husband’s black coffee is very tasty. Still won’t be back but there is a positive.

Such a fun place! The food (especially the pimento cheese) is delicious! Service is top-notch!

Amazing atmosphere. Great coffee and the Pig Pie is a must have.
