I haven't been at this restaurant and had a bad experience ever, and today was no exception. The cashier was extremely friendly and helpful in getting my keto order correct and my takeout order for my husband. The restaurant is extremely clean. The restrooms are always clean and neat. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It was an all-around great experience and I'll continue to return. I did a dine in on my way home and a takeout for my hubby.
Portion size was awesome. I had the beef brisket, super tender and full of flavor. Love the music here and service was excellent and had a chance to get to know the staff here. Saw a lot of families here. Reminded me of Life before covid. 5 stars.
This place did not disappoint! I don't usually order ribs, but for some reason, I had a taste for that, along with mac and cheese. The ribs were flavorful and tender. Came clean off the bone! The cornbread could have been better & the bread pudding could have been a little crispy, with the edges. It was more like mush, but it also reminded me of candied yams. Overall, it was a great experience. I'll definitely return.
Mission BBQ, Sterling, VA, feels like family to us. They've been helping us celebrate 103 year old Dad's birthday for several years now. My WWII vet Dad, Victor, has a booth dedicated to him there with his photo up as a young soldier. We know pretty much everyone who works there. They fed about 8K veterans FOR FREE this past Veteran's Day. They go above and beyond and really take care of all veterans and service workers. The people who worked there are the most kind and caring and the food is quality, oh-so-good, fabulous to cater any party or when you just don't feel like cooking. For so many reasons, I highly recommend it! 🩵 Michelle Guilbault and Victor Brick
I got brisket, pulled pork, side of mac n cheese, and 2 pieces of cornbread. Brisket was perfect consistency. Pulled pork had just the right amount of smoke and fat content. Mac n cheese was better than mine, and I take pride in that one. Cornbread was spot on. My cashier was friendly and remembered my name. Made it feel homey. I went with the Memphis one and the KC one for sauces. Mixing them seem to hit that right spot. I'm going back.
