Stopped by for a quick bite and everything was delicious. I didn't even think I was that hungry, but I finished the 1/4 order of pulled pork - and all the sides. They accidentally gave me cole slaw instead of green beans, but I didn't mind. Within seconds of sitting down, the hostess came by and dropped off the green beans, apologizing for the error. She had noticed it when my order came out and proactively made the correction! She was very sweet about it and I appreciate the gesture. Plus, their selection of sauces ensures you get the flavors you like!
Food was delicious! Definitely cooked & seasoned well…:..BUT the portions sizes for the sandwiches are not worth the price. $53 is insane. I could cooked a whole brisket and sides myself for half that price. We ordered the chopped brisket sandwiches, seasonal cheesy potatoes (yum!) and the kicker collard greens(bomb🤤). My husband had the same sandwich except he got the Mac n chez(was dry) and the seasonal caramel bread pudding (delicious).
Super friendly staff! Helped walk us through the menu and ordering since it was our first time! The brisket “wet” was really flavorful. Wasn’t a fan of the pull chicken, and the salmon was a little overcooked but I love salmon and super picky. I was not a fan of the sauces but the kids and husband did. The fries are delicious as well as the mac n cheese!
First timer and it did not disappoint! Had a ribeye with Mac and cheese and cornbread. It was delicious and fresh! Love how the theme is laid out throughout restaurant. Will definitely return to try the brisket.
First-time visit — mixed feelings It was my first time here, and I came in with a lot of expectations. The service was great — the girl who attended to us was very friendly and helped us understand the menu. We ordered the 2-meat plate with pulled pork and pulled chicken — both were very good. However, the brisket, which is supposed to be the star dish, was disappointing. We ordered it lean, but it still came with too much fat. On the positive side, the fresh-cut fries and Maggie’s Mac-N-Cheese were excellent. We’re considering coming back to try the pulled pork and pulled chicken sandwiches, and we hope the next experience will be better.
