Miss Betty's

We just tried Miss Betty's for the first time and everything we had was absolutely amazing. It's only about a 2 min drive from I-65, so it would be very easy to stop and eat there if you're driving through on 65. We had country ham, country, fried steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, mac and cheese and apple Betty (Sweet potatoes with baked apples) and everything was so delicious and I highly recommend all of it. We also tried coconut and butterscotch pie. Not only were they delicious but they had the most beautiful meringue ever On a pie and I'm Not usually a big fan of meringue on my pies but theirs was pure perfection and I actually liked how it tasted. You can't beat the prices especially for the amount of food you get. We live in Louisville but my dad has a Lakehouse at Barren River

My family came to enjoy Thanksgiving lunch and we were so glad we did! Nothing like a good southern cooked meal. Every single bite was full of flavor and memories. We came all the way from Bowling Green to try this place, and it was 100% worth it! I hope we get to come back soon!

On a road trip from NY to TN. Wifey an I look for local non corporate places to eat whenever possible. If you are visiting Mammoth Cave National Park you must head over to Miss Betty’s after cave hiking. When we walked up first thing we noticed was the smoker going low and slow. Very welcoming. We sat down and quickly got our drink order. The sandwich of the month was a fried beef steak sandwich. Sublime ! Not too much and over worked. Nicely toasted bread, fresh lettuce and tomato, and tasty gravy. The turnip greens with vinegar, the white beans with onion. Wifey had the roast beef Manhattan and she loved it. Staff is wonderfully engaging and welcoming. Keep supporting a local jewel. Thank you Miss Betty we loved our meal.

Southern hospitality and Southern cooking wrapped up into a cute little basket of joy. Food was amazing!

Cute, hometown restaurant. Service was wonderful and the food was fantastic. We had 4 people in our party and ordered 3 dinners and a sandwich platter. Food was out quickly and tasted amazing. My youngest said it was the best baked beans he had ever had! We got 4 pieces of pie for dessert and shared them. The pie was also very good. Prices were very reasonable as well. Definitely happy we stumbled across this place while traveling. Only sad we don't live closer so we can come back.
