Mirro’s Cafe

Really enjoyed our meal. Very clean and cute inside. Order was served in minutes. The tuna wrap was OUTSTANDING! We also had a mahi BLT also was fantastic. Large portions, reasonably priced, delicious tasting and clean....can't do better than than Mirro.

This is the first place we ate at the OBX. Simple place, take a menu, seat yourself, order at the counter and they bring it out to you. I had The Islander, which is fresh blackened mahi topped with melted Swiss cheese and a slice of juicy grilled pineapple, lettuce and tomato on a toasted Kaiser roll. My husband had the fish and fries. All was very good with the slight exception of hubby's coleslaw, which was just ok. Really enjoyed it all and would definitely go back.

We were staying at the Koa across the street, decided to walk over to give it a try and we're so glad we did. The islander was fantastic and the shrimp tacos were amazing. Place filled up quick and the service was fast, despite working with a skeleton crew. Highly recommend!!!

When you enter you seat yourself with a menu and when you are ready to order you go up to the counter. Food when ready is brought out to you. Ordered shrimp basket and oyster basket. Plenty of lightly battered, tender, tasty shrimp served over crispy fries. Oysters are lightly breaded and super tender served over fries. Exchanged cocktail sauce for tartar sauce. Variety of soft drinks and beer available. Only complaint would be a bit expensive for quantity of seafood received. There is a porch for outdoor dining and noticed there was a lot of take-out orders being picked up. Took dessert for two to go. Banana cream pie

The food was okay but not great, and a bit pricey for the quality. You’re basically your own server since you order at the counter and fill your own drinks. I should’ve known better when I saw the empty parking lot. And to top it off, the silverware was plastic.
