Mio Gusto Italian Cuisine has become my go-to restaurant, and it continues to impress me every time I visit. This family-owned spot has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the owners are always respectful, friendly, and genuinely appreciative of their customers. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated : cozy, stylish, and inviting. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable, whether you’re dining with family or enjoying a quiet meal. I ordered the salmone alla champagne, and it was exceptional , perfectly cooked and full of rich flavor. My son had a cheese pizza, and it tasted just like the authentic pizzas you’d find in Italy. And I have to mention the tiramisu . It’s the best you can find in the DFW area. It’s housemade, incredibly fresh, and absolutely deli
After a full day of Black Friday shopping, we were craving authentic Italian food and found the perfect spot at Mio Gusto Restaurant, conveniently located near Stonebriar Mall—and it truly exceeded our expectations. 🛍️🍝😋 The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and full of charm. We dined with our daughters, but it’s definitely a place I’d love to return to for a dinner with friends. It has such an easy, relaxed vibe—perfect for enjoying great conversation, drinks, and incredible food. 🥂👯♀️✨ The food was outstanding from start to finish. I was especially impressed by the fresh, unsweetened baked bread rolls—simple, warm, and absolutely delicious. I ordered the meatballs as a starter, and they were so filling and flavorful that I was almost full before my main dish arrived. Every bite was
I believe we were the first customers since today was their opening day. The place looks very nice. The server was nice, seemed nervous but maybe because it’s his first day and he doesn’t speak English all too well. We ordered the Margarita pizza as a starter. The dough was light and airy and good ratio of cheese and sauce. The server brought out some bread for us as well and offered some grated cheese and olive oil to go with it. As he was grating the cheese, a lot of it spilt over to the table and on our laps. We ordered the Saltimbocca and Misto di Mare as our mains and those took about 40 minutes before we got them. It was a long wait considering we were the only customers seated in the restaurant at the time. The mains weren’t that great, the chicken and pasta were really salty and
I am so excited to have this restaurant in my neighborhood. From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell immediately that Mio Gusto is run with pride and heart. The food is incredible. Every dish was high-quality, fresh, and served in generous portions that made the whole experience feel like true hospitality. We started with perfectly cooked calamari—light, crispy, and flavorful—followed by the most delicious shrimp scampi and an outstanding eggplant rolatini that was rich, tender, and full of depth. For the main course, the chicken piccata was bright, buttery, and perfectly balanced. And of course, we ended with tiramisu that was silky, delicate, and absolutely memorable. A special shoutout to the complimentary table r
After seeing that this place opened recently, partner and I stopped in for a Friday night dinner date. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, they had a Christmas tree and were playing Christmas music with medium ambient lighting. Other than the employees, a family in the back that seemed to be related to employees, and one other family, we were actually alone in the restaurant. We received complimentary bread that was quite good. Soft, warm, and served with oil and vinegar. Could’ve used some butter, but still delightful anyway. I got the Piccata, and though it wasn’t bad, I didn’t find it amazing either. The chicken had a lovely cook to it, and they actually served the side pasta in the sauce instead of with marinara which was nice, but the sauce distinctly lacked the citrus flavor that mak
