Minos Bakery

Doughnut review. Visited on a cold Tuesday morning, late-October and off-season. First, this is in a semi-residential area of AC, on the corner. It is a small, old bakery with no-frills. It was not crowded and had one cashier/server. The server was slightly hostile (which is usually what you'd expect in S. Jersey, however the hostility lacked any 'jersey-style charm'). Responding to "what do you want?" I said I was going to get a small box of pastries, maybe 4. She retorted: I don't have a box for 4 only 6. Whatever! I agreed to 6 pastries and a box. She also cautioned me that they were all different prices. Again - whatever! I chose: chocolate frosted ring, coffee roll, sugared-jelly, sugared ring, cheese danish, and apple fritter. Lady behind counter didn’t smile once. Apathetic. No one else in shop at 730am. $13 for 6 baked goods. Everything tasted like it was 1-2 days old. Disappointed. One and done. You can do better on customer service friendliness and delivering a fresh product.

I’ve been going to Minos for years now and I just had the worst experience today at the Atlantic City location. The lady was incredibly rude, talked to me as if I was dirty. I was being very polite even though she was hostile. She got more and more aggressive and it got to a point where I said I’m sorry you’re being incredibly rude and walked out. So disappointed!

This bakery at either of their locations are what bakeries used to be. Awesome selection. Friendly service and delicious pastries.

It's dirty, the food sometimes is stale. The cookies are way smaller than they used to be, and the prices went too much to justify it. Also, my friend who worked for the board of health in the city said to stay sway. It's dirty and they found roaches in the back. So, it's a hard pass. I'll never go back. Sorry
