Minervas Restaurant

Everything I have tried here is good and the atmosphere is very nice and relaxing. Staff is very accomodating and new artwork is being created for the decor. I am a big fan of their wedge salad, it isn't always on the menu, but should be. I recently tried the french dip sandwich and it was one of the best french dips I've had. The salmon sandwich was good, but the string onions and capers are a little messy in their current form. Great menu for lunch or dinner.

This is a lovely upscale dining experience in downtown Sioux Falls. We went for the burger during “Burger Battle 2026” and shared it—the portion was big enough to do that—and then split a piece of the decadent chocolate cake. The list of bourbons, ryes, and whiskeys is extensive and impressive, and there are several beer, wine, and cocktail options that are also above-average. The service was good (thanks, Emma!) and the ambience would have been great for a date, special occasion, or business dinner. We were dressed relatively casually, but saw diners wearing everything from special occasion dresses to hoodies (I’d recommend dressing up a bit more than that, though). I plan to return and try the charcuterie/soup/salad bar.

This place was amazing. Our dinner was perfect. We both had steak and it was cooked to perfection. Louis was our waiter and he was the best ….so accommodating, and friendly. It was our anniversary and he graciously treated us to a fun dessert. We had a great evening and would highly recommend this place. The atmosphere was awesome too.

What an amazing establishment! I sat at the bar and service was friendly and fast. Plenty of seating indoors. I started with the Caesar salad and ended up getting the pheasant risotto, which was amazing. I also got the red velvet soufflé for dessert. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a great place to eat!

My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary there! The food and service were excellent. The chocolate cake we shared was awesome!
