Mimo's Cafe

I love this Cafe where they served breakfast, Mexican, and American meals every day in Uptown Whittier. They got burgers, sandwiches, salads, ice cream, and smoothies for customers to enjoy. Other than that, Mimo's Cafe is very nice the way they cleaned it up.

This establishment is a gem. Went there for breakfast and the second I open the front door the aroma of baked goods hit my senses. The server made us feel welcome. She made our drinks to order and they were delicious. The best hot chocolate I have had thus far. The quality of the food was very good and it came piping hot. The flavors of the Spanish omelet were fantastic. The waffles and eggs with thick-cut bacon. Delicious food, but please come see for yourselves. This was my personal experience.

This happened about a year and a half ago, but forgot to review - but their employees were extremely awful & rude. I chalked it up as a one-off, but in conversation with others just recently - it's clear this is a consistent issue there. Food was up to par, but making the order was like going to the DMV in the 80s. I walk Uptown weekly and have never gone back - sucks that these positive reviews will draw folks there and change their perspective on our wonderful Greenleaf, when there's much better restaurants to visit.

My son took me here for the first time, and I’m glad we dined there. I was surprised at the huge menu selection being that it’s a very small place. There were only 2 people working but they were friendly. There are also tables to dine outside but it was raining so we dined inside which was fairly clean. After ordering we received our food in 20 minutes which was worth the wait, I ordered a chicken sandwich which came with fries it was delicious! Your served a great amount and I couldn’t finish my food,, I definitely recommend this place!

Really mellow atmosphere, there is seating available inside & outside the establishment. Service is really friendly and helpful. Fast service and food quality is good. Portions are decent, worth the reasonable prices. There is a variety of food items to select from. One awesome feature is breakfast served all day. They also have fresh pastries. Plenty of parking in the parking garage behind the shop's.
